1.UNCOMFORTABLE OR WORN-OUT SHOES
We all have a pair of shoes that we are holding on to, but will never wear again. Or, shoes that are on their last lifeline. Donate any shoes that are decent or if you have the time and patience, sell them. Old worn out sneakers and shoes can be tossed out.
2. OLD & DAMAGE UNDERGARMENTS
Sad to say this, but a lot of us probably have a drawer full of undergarments that have seen better days. So, this is the perfect time to go through them and toss out anything that is faded, holier than thou(lol), and have lost elasticity. (Please and Thank you)
Costume Jewelry are very popular. However, they unfortunately do not last very long Go through your jewelry box and dispose of the broken jewelry. If you have anything of value that you have outgrown, make plans to sell those.
That old t-shirt from your High School Alma Mater can go and please don't forget that free t-shirt you received from work, or for volunteering . We tend to collect useless tees that we will never wear out in public. We may have a few of our favorites on rotation, but honestly How many tees do you really need?
5. CLOTHING THAT NO LONGER FIT(TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL)
I am guilty of this one myself. I often hold on to clothing that I believe I will fit into again. Or, clothing that are just way too big. It's OK to let go of these items. Someone else can enjoy them.
6. DUPLICATE ITEMS
Why do you have duplicates or other multiples of items? Need I say more? Unless you are creating a uniform wardrobe, anything that you have multiple of should be donated.
7. MEDICINE AND VITAMINS
You will be shock to know that most people believe vitamins do not expire. However, they do. So, properly dispose any unused vitamins and any medication that are expired.
Did you know that Makeup expires also? Mascara generally should be thrown out after 3-6 months, Eye and lip pencils can last up to five years, and eye shadows can last around two years. It is recommended that lipsticks, lip glosses, as well as foundation and concealer be tossed out after two years.
Do you have any items on this list that you definitely need to toss out?
